    Dr. Oliveira,
thank you for the presentation at the EMTN conference. I empathize with your sentiments about the challenges facing physicians in regards to accessing the right tools to help them in their day-to-day work (research, sharing/accessing/finding information, time management, etc.).

It is exciting for me when I encounter physicians who are as interested and proactively engaged in technology as you are. One of the areas those of us in IT need to do a better job is partnering more closely with physician leadership — there are many opportunities where IT can bring greater value to their physicians through closer collaboration and seeking to be more responsive to the needs of providers.

When IT and physicians work more closely to seek better ways to provide the right tools that are reliable, secure, and simple to use, I am of the opinion that the quality of care delivered to patients will indirectly benefit (since physicians will be equipped with what they need, when they need it, where they need it).

If you make it to Boise, feel free to reach out to me.
It was a pleasure meeting you.
    Take care.

    • I had a great time presenting this lecture at the EMTN retreat. I don’t get to speak to non-Physicians (ever!).
Thank you for your kind words and for participating in the lecture. You brought great contributions to the presentation.
      Best regards,
